In April of 2004, Beth Borrego, See Dirt Run!'s Vice President received the nomination from the PWNA Board of Directors for the position of Secretary on the PWNA Executive Board, and was voted into the position. She served as PWNA Secretary in 2004 and acted as Chairperson for the Communications Committee and to assist Sub-Committee Chairs during that time.
At the 2004 Convention in Dallas Texas in February, See Dirt Run!™ Inc. won first place in the PWNA & IWCA joint Professional Image contest. This prestigious award goes to the company that best demonstrates excellence in professionalism and corporate image. Contestants were judged by a panel of judges based upon specific criteria.

Beth Borrego, Vice President of See Dirt Run!™ Inc. was also honored with two additional awards at the 2004 PWNA convention:

“Certificate of Appreciation... In appreciation for your service to the PWNA Web Committee. Your support has helped the PWNA grow as an association and achieve its goals.

As a PWNA Board of Directors member, Beth served on four committees during 2003: Communications Committee, Web Committee, Convention Committee and Task Force, and Nominating Committee.As a member of the Communications Committee she developed a new award for PWNA, the Member Spotlight award, which is given for Excellence in Community service. Three companies received this award.
On the web committee she assisted with moderation on the BBS, as well as planning for future upgrades to the site. Her involvement in the Convention Committee and Task Force helped to bring fresh new ideas to the planning of PWNA's first joint convention held between PWNA and IWCA in Dallas in February 2004. Beth also served on the Nominating Committee for PWNA, and helped to locate new candidates who have demonstrated excellence in quality and leadership.

In 2004 Beth's served as PWNA BBS Administrator and Web Committee Chair, as well as being the Chairperson for the Communications Committee. She served for two years on the PWNA's Board of Directors, serving in 2003 and 2004. Both Beth and Rod also mentor numerous new businesses across the United States
In the Spring of 2003, she received an award from the PWNA for her work on the Web Committee, and was elected to the Board of Directors for the PWNA. Beth has also published articles in both Cleaner Times and BlastMaster Magazines in an effort to assist fellow contractors and to better the industry. Both Beth and Rod are Moderators on the PWNA's BBS.
In late October 2002, the owners attended the PWNA (Power Washers of North America) convention in Pittsburgh, PA. where Beth Borrego conducted a seminar on "Marketing Your Service Business". Marketing Your Service Business, Fall 2002.
Her seminar was well received and was presented again with new material added in Las Vegas, NV. in early March of 2003. She added an "Ad Building Workshop" to her Marketing Seminar, and also held a seminar on "Consultative Selling".

In 2004 Rod Rodriguez, President of See Dirt Run!™ Inc. served on the PWNA's Certification & Education Committee, and worked towards developing a new certification program for PWNA. This is both an honor and a huge task. Many hours of research time go into the development of course work, and requirements by OSHA and EPA, as well as other issues must considered. See Dirt Run!™ is certified by the PWNA in Wood Restoration & Preservation, and we were one of very few companies nominated in the United States in early 2003 to instruct the Wood Care Boot Camp in March 2003, in Las Vegas. This nomination was only extended to a select few companies nationwide, and we're proud to be among them.
Rod has an extensive background in wood, and is extremely well versed on various products and their specific requirements. He's worked with several types of Pressure Treated lumber, several species of Cedar, several species of pine (not pressure treated), Redwood, Ipe, Brazilian Redwood, Teak, Mahogany and Walnut, and has restored decks, cedar homes, log cabins, fences, playsets, sheds, and gazebos. See Dirt Run!™ Inc. believes in continuing education. In August 2003, Rod Rodriguez, President of See Dirt Run!™ Inc. certified in Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning. While in Pittsburgh (Fall 2002), Rod re-certified in Wood Restoration and Preservation. He originally certified in 1999 in the inception year of the program, and has been practicing the PWNA instructed methods since then. Recertification testing is required by the PWNA in order to maintain certification status. This requirement helps to ensure that the most current methods and technologies are understood by the certificate holder. As PWNA Certified Members we also attended the newly offered Advanced Wood Restoration Seminar in Dallas, Texas in 2004. Rod's expertise and consistent use of the instructed methods shows in job quality as well as in leadership.
Rod Rodriguez participates in hose rolling contest, 2004. In Dallas, Texas at the 2004 PWNA Convention, Rod participated in the 2nd Annual Hose Rolling contest. Although he didn't place, his two entry times were the most consistent. This was a fun event!
See Dirt Run!™ Inc. has hosted several local Round Table meetings. They took place in February 2003, November 2003, and February 2004. Contractors traveling from as far as Ohio, Pennsylvania, Missouri, New Jersey, upstate New York, Hampton Roads Virginia, North Carolina and Tennessee have attended them. The meetings focused on bettering the industry and improved knowledge for the cleaning contractor. Many of our local competitors attended this meeting.
